Chinese Cupping Treatment
Cupping is the modern term for an ancient medical treatment popular in Asian and Arab cultures. In its modern form, cupping involves placing specially designed glass cups on the skin, which are heated to create a vacuum.
Cupping is used primarily to break up stagnation in lung, bronchial, and abdominal conditions.
Moxibustion and Moxa Treatment
Moxibustion is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique. The practitioner burns moxa (mugwort), a small, spongy herb, to encourage healing. Moxa treatment has been used in Asia for thousands of years and used as a treatment for patients with a cool or stagnant condition. The burning of moxa expels cold, warms the meridians, and leads to smoother flow of blood and qi.
Dietary Therapy
